OLGA CHUMAKOVA I am a scientist by training and thanks to my extensive work at the university I have accumulated some experience in biology and microscopy together with happy memories of my colleagues. My colleagues were different ages, from many countries of the world, they were well-educated and hard-working. Every day we tried to get answers about nature and human beings, and every day we got more questions. I am still trying to find some answers with my painting. I continue to develop my craft by working with different mediums while studying art at the Draw Paint Academy with Dan Scott. My paintings have been exhibited at the McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston and presented in the McGovern Center for Humanities and Ethics journal Human Ties. I am a member of The Woodlands Art League and The Galveston Art League, where "Agaves" won first place and "Hines Lake" and "Night in Hermann Park" received honorable mentions in the juried exhibitions
